Objective of the game: Each player is credited with a marble color. The goal is to be the first to take out of the board 6 balls of the opposer by pushing his own marbles.

EEnglish, « ab- » means "never", and « alone » means « only ». Abalone is a game of French origin that won the "Gobelet d'Or" prize of the Boulogne-Billancourt contest (France) in 1988. The game was called Sumito, a name that surely comes from the beginning of the game that looks a lot like that of Japanese Sumo fights.
